Catching Up With Florida and Family, Day 2, Part 2

After buying a house (Yikes!), we drove back to the hotel for a rest. I don’t remember what or when we ate anything, but I think we picked up something in the onsite market. Brother Bob checked in with us and we were set to meet up at Disney Springs, somewhere around the Boathouse.

It was packed on a Sunday night and we were concerned we’d have to wait quite a long time, if we could get in at all. But we’d had such a great time with Rich’s brother when we met up for lunch out on the docks over 4 years ago now. We walked down further than before and saw a line and got in it. Rich texted his brother with our location. He showed up, we waited just a bit and were seated out by the water. It was fabulous! What a night. And just when we thought we couldn’t top the last time we were there.

The atmosphere, the conversation, the food, the CMs – awesome! Our server even brought us a free dessert – Bananas Foster Cheesecake, I think it was. I was too full for even a taste, so I didn’t indulge. I know, I can’t believe it either.

I’ll have to consult the photos to remember what I had, but it was probably tacos or shrimp or something and a margarita. Actually, the photos aren’t much help, because I only remembered to take a shot after we were almost done. That’s when you know . Tacos for me abd a fresh grilled Mahi sandwich with fries for Rich. He also had a Blue Hawaiian.

But the real show wasn’t the food, it was the surroundings after dark. Incredibly beautiful! Let’s take a look.
